About Raven

A carrier built around one tracking number.

We run our own riders and our own hubs inside Ghana. That means the scan on your phone and the scan in our operations console are the same event, recorded once, and nobody has to phone a partner to find out where a parcel went.

How we work

Four things we will not trade away

The promise is the product

A delivery date is either kept or it is a lie we told a customer. Services that carry a guarantee are priced to cover the cost of keeping it, and the ones that cannot be guaranteed say so plainly instead of being sold as if they were.

Money moves last

We hold the amount when a shipment is created and only capture it on delivery. If we cannot complete the job, the hold is released. Nobody should be out of pocket for a parcel that never moved.

The recipient is a customer too

Recipients did not choose us and have no account with us. They still get a tracking page that works, a timeline that is honest about delays, and a notification before they have to ask.

Say what went wrong

Exceptions are recorded against the shipment with a reason and a time, surfaced to the sender, and pushed out on a webhook. A parcel sitting silently at a hub is a failure even if it eventually arrives.

History

How the network grew

Swipe through, or use the arrows.

  • 2024

    Started in Accra

Two riders, one motorbike each, and a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet lasted six weeks.

  • 2025

    Hubs in Kumasi and Takoradi

The first intercity lanes, and the point at which a shipment stopped being one rider's job and became a sequence of legs.

  • 2026

    Nationwide standard service

All sixteen regions, priced on distance from the nearest hub rather than on zone maps we had not drawn.

  • Next

    International lanes

Customs, HS codes and Incoterms are already modelled in the platform. They switch on when a partner carrier is contracted, not before.
